Dr. Bogdan Maciuceanu is a Doctor in Surgical Science since the year 2009, Consultant Physician in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery and Assistant Professor at the Bucharest University of Medicine and Pharmacy ‘Carol Davila’.
After graduating in 2003 the Faculty of Medicine from UMF ‘Carol Davila’ from Bucharest he started his professional training in the General Surgery specialization from the Constanta Universitary Center, so that, later, in 2005 he would start his specialization as a resident doctor in Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery and his teaching activity as a graduate assistant at the ‘Victor Babes’ University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Timisoara.
In the year 2006 he becomes graduate assistant of UMF ‘Carol Davila’ from Bucharest and resident doctor inside the Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery department from the Grigore Alexandrescu Clinic of Plastic Surgery and the SCUC Children Burns Unit, where he gathered an important experience in the Reconstructive, Malformative and Traumatic pathology of the child.
Since the year 2008 he joined the team, led by Prof. Dr. Ioan Lascar, as an Assistant Professor of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Farmacy, initially as a resident and afterwards as a practitioner in Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery.
DR. BOGDAN MACIUCEANU OFTEN PUBLISHES IN SPECIALTY PRESS AND PRESENTS WORKS DURING SCIENTIFIC MANIFESTATIONS.
He obtained PhD in 2010 with the work ‘Study regarding intraperitoneal chemothermia as a helping treatment method in the subdiaphragmatic digestive tube cancers’. The theme’s specific research was objectified with the national premier elaboration of a specific therapeutic protocol, but, also, by obtaining three invention brevets.
He is member of the Plastic Surgeons Association and an affiliated member of the European Society of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, European Board of Plastic Surgery, European Burns Association, International Confederation for Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery.
In the last years, Dr. Bogdan Maciuceanu specialized in PRP therapies (Vampire – Dracula Therapy – non-surgical, progressive, healing treatment, with the help of one’s own blood which enhances the healing of the injuries in the affected areas. Likewise, this treatment is frequently used, also, in situations of fine or deep lines, stretch marks, under-eye bags and dropped off skin or acne affected skin.
