Intr-un parteneriat solid intre EnLife Solutions, EnLife News, Facultatea de Stomatologie Bucuresti si sub auspiciile Spitalului Clinic de Chirurgie Oro-Maxilo-Faciala „Prof. Dr. Dan Theodorescu”, a avut loc un eveniment educational de referinta: Workshopul de Osteosinteza Maxilo-Mandibulara si Principiile AO/ASIF.
🎓 Scopul principal al workshopului a fost dezvoltarea abilitatilor practice ale medicilor rezidenti in abordarea traumatismelor cranio-faciale, cu accent pe osteosinteza mandibulei si a oaselor fetei.
👩⚕️👨⚕️ Au participat 25 de medici rezidenti din specialitatile Chirurgie OMF si SMF, care au beneficiat de o experienta practica unica, ghidati de cadre didactice de prestigiu si de experti din industrie:

- Conf. Dr. Octavian Dinca – prezentare clinica de cazuri complexe si tehnici chirurgicale

🦴 Componenta practica a inclus lucru individual la 12 posturi de simulare chirurgicala, utilizand segmente anatomice printate 3D, pe care au fost simulate fracturi de mandibula (mediane, laterale si de unghi mandibular), precum si fracturi ale osului malar. Medicii rezidenti au exersat tehnici de osteosinteza cu placi si suruburi de 1.6/2.0 mm, extrem de utile in traumatologia cranio-faciala.
🖐️ Activitatea practica a urmarit fidel conditiile reale ale unei interventii chirurgicale, permitand participantilor sa-si dezvolte dexteritatea si manualitatea chirurgicala esentiala in chirurgia BMF.
🎓 La finalul workshopului, toti participantii au primit diplome de participare, care atesta dobandirea unei pregatiri suplimentare in domeniul chirurgiei maxilo-faciale si acumularea unor informatii esentiale pentru parcursul lor profesional.

Excellence in Applied Medical Training: EnLife Solutions BMF Osteosynthesis Workshop for Resident Doctors

In a solid partnership between EnLife Solutions, EnLife News, the Faculty of Dentistry Bucharest and under the auspices of the Clinical Hospital for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery “Prof. Dr. Dan Theodorescu”, a landmark educational event took place: the Maxillomandibular Osteosynthesis Workshop and AO/ASIF Principles.
🎓 The main goal of the workshop was to develop the practical skills of resident doctors in addressing craniofacial trauma, with a focus on osteosynthesis of the mandible and facial bones.
👩⚕️👨⚕️ 25 resident doctors from the OMF and SMF Surgery specialties participated, who benefited from a unique practical experience, guided by prestigious teaching staff and industry experts:

🦴 The practical component included individual work at 12 surgical simulation stations, using 3D printed anatomical segments, on which mandibular fractures (median, lateral and mandibular angle) were simulated, as well as malar bone fractures. The resident physicians practiced osteosynthesis techniques with 1.6/2.0 mm plates and screws, extremely useful in craniofacial traumatology.
🖐️ The practical activity faithfully followed the real conditions of a surgical intervention, allowing the participants to develop their dexterity and surgical manual skills essential in BMF surgery.
🎓 At the end of the workshop, all participants received participation certificates, which attest to the acquisition of additional training in the field of maxillofacial surgery and the accumulation of essential information for their professional career.
🔍 AO/ASIF principles were explained and practiced:
- Anatomical reconstruction – plates adaptable to any type of fracture
- Stable fixation – various screw options and mechanical resistance
- Preservation of vascularization – compact design to minimize periosteal damage
